Record-keeping, Budget Alignment, and Final Report

Grant writing can be very rewarding, however, a grant recipient must keep accurate and precise records.  Record-keeping is one of the most important steps in getting and qualifying for funding from an outside source.  Budget Alignment is also a vital part of the grant maintenance process.  Your projected expenditures must be aligned and accounted for in the budget statement.  The Final Report must show organized record-keeping and consistent budget alignment. In order for the final report to be accurate, all money received must balance with the projected expenditures with descriptive receipts. Remember the final report will ensure qualifying for future funding.
